Geotagging: Are You Staying Safe?

I am asking a question to the world based on this video about Geotagging photos and the inherent dangers you may not know about.

Does geotagging occur automatically on iPhones?

And that one question leads to some  subsidiary questions:

• Can you turn off geotagging on your iPhone?
• Will you know if you have geotagging turned on?
• How can you protect yourself?

And if geotagging does automatically occur on iPhones--than I have even greater iNeeds than I thought. (I'm going to have to add to my iPhone 5 iNeeds List...)
